Support GMB’s Justice for Gary campaign.

Some of you will be aware by now that Gary, one of our longstanding representatives in Islington, has been dismissed after 24 years’ service with the Council. His dismissal is completely unwarranted, and we are launching a major campaign for his reinstatement. Helen Purcell is the officer who is leading on the campaign along with the branch officers for Islington Apex and Islington and Haringey.

We have set up a Facebook page which can be found here. Please like and share the page with your friends and members of the branch. In addition, we have set up a petition on 38 degrees which has the full background to Gary’s dismissal and why we are campaigning for his reinstatement. The petition can be found here.
